East Leeds Roofing Services is a small, experienced team led by Steve Taylor – City & Guilds qualified with 15 years of hands-on roofing experience. Wayne brings another 20 years in the building trade, giving us a broad skill set across roofing and general building work. We're based at 13 Sunnydene, LS14, and cover Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby, Great Preston, and the surrounding areas – with a reputation built on honest assessments, quality work, and fair pricing.
Qualifications
I've been on roofs for 15 years now, and I've seen every bodge job you can imagine. That's not how I work. If a roof can be repaired, I repair it. If it needs replacing, I explain why and show you what's going on. I treat every roof like it's my own – because at the end of the day, it's your home and you're trusting me with it. How East Leeds Roofing Services Got Started
Steve Taylor started the business after completing his City & Guilds in Roof Slating and Tiling around 15 years ago. He wanted to offer something different from the typical roofing company – honest work, clear communication, and no pressure to replace roofs that could be repaired. The business grew through word of mouth, with a reputation for sorting problems that other roofers had given up on. Wayne joined the team, bringing 20 years of building experience, and together they've carried out re-roofs, repairs, and leadwork across Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby, and Great Preston. Today, the same approach applies: assess properly, quote fairly, do the job right, and guarantee the work. We're not interested in cutting corners or chasing quick money – we're interested in doing work we're proud of.
